Join Wild Harvest in the rural outskirts of York for a Natural Christmas Crafts Day.

On the morning make a beautiful wreath of seasonal greenery.

Learn the art of wreath making and take away your own work of art.  Suitable for beginners and experienced alike.

Break for lunch (please bring a packed lunch) Mince pies and Di's native spiced chai  will be offered as winter warming refreshments throughout the day.  - no need to import them they grow all around you for FREE!

After lunch make festive beeswax candles displays using logs and apples as holders to hold the sheet candles you will make.

Finally, spend the last hour weaving a willow star to hang up on your wall.  Make a large one to add fairy lights as a wall decoration or greenery or even add a vintage luggage tag to give it as a re-useable Christmas card to a friend.

Join us for a fun, festive, full day of Christmas Crafting, using all natural materials.

Make and take away:

  • Christmas Wreath
  • Pack of Three beeswax candles in log holders
  • Willow Star.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry

Eat mince pies, and drink chai tea.  Feel free to bring your own Mulled wine which we can warm up in the cabin.

Christmas crafts day review:

"We had a great relaxing day.  There was a new cabin with nice toilet and outside seating we were lucky it was a sunny day lots of beautiful chickens & ducks wandering about goats on leads
We spent the morning making Christmas wreaths
herbal teas and coffee provided ( need to bring your own teabags if you want a proper cup of tea)
Everything you need to make wreath was provided lots of guidance its a lot easier than you think no wrong way of doing it each made our own design
We all brought a packed lunch
Then Di showed us how to make Chai from local foraged ingredients we then made Bees wax candles and a wicker star
It was fun relaxing and very informative we will definatly do another course
Have previously been on a forage walk with Di who is knowledgeable about how to live sustainably using vegitation found locally she is Yorkshires female bear grills with out any push preaching just a lovley informative lady
I would highly recommend
Very Good value for money".
