August 24 at 5:00 pm - August 26 at 6:00 pm

Family Sustainable Living Weekend – FULL

Join a small group of other like-minded families to experience a weekend of off-grid living. Spend two nights in a tipi heated by a wood-burner and lit by candles, stretch your eyes across the fields and relax. Listen to talks about Permaculture, Wild Medicine, Making your own Natural Toiletries and Natural Beekeeping.

Go foraging for wild food, do workshops to make natural and useful personal and household items such as bath and body products, candles, leather pouch, rag-rug, and mushroom log, have a go at making a bee skep and a basket, learn to light fire-by-friction using just the materials around you with Paul Dore Bushcraft and have a go at instinctive archery with our beautiful wooden bows. Make home-made butter and bread to bake in the wood fired oven.Gr

* actual activities may vary depending on availability of tutors and resources
