We are a 10 – 15 min drive from York and our nearest town is Pocklington, an attractive market town with all facilities, just 7 miles away and cycle-able.
There is no public transport near us. The nearest stops are Pocklington (bus, 7 miles from us) and York (train, 12 miles) or Howden (train, 8 miles). We recommend a car.
Other things to note
There is no electricity on the tipi area so please bring torches. Solar lights to the loo’s are installed. Firewood is provided and a fire can be set for your arrival.
Activities: From creative natural crafting sessions such as willow stars, foraged flower bath bomb making or beeswax candles and more (see website) to Instinctive Archery, wild food foraging and fire lighting, via relaxing yoga and massage we can design a package to suit. Book the basic accommodation here and contact us for the add ons.
Have fun and be fair but leave no litter lying there….. If you break it, let us know and ideally pay for it before you go. Smoking is allowed outside of rooms/tipis eg. around the fire circle. We have no neighbours so you can sit out around the fire till after midnight if you wish.

We had a brilliant time staying in the Tipi’s. Everything was explained and sorted on arrival and then we were allowed to relax around the log fire, making our own pizzas and having a great time! Whole area was private, clean and functional and we did not feel overlooked at all. Brilliant weekend!
Beautiful setting looking over the fields. When we arrived in the evening the whole place was lit up by fairy lights it was lovely. Di already had the camp fire started for us as we were arriving late which was very kind. The decor is lovely and everything is set up perfectly. The beds are very very comfy. Everything you need is there. There are plug sockets in the main room which was a great relief for charging mobiles, using hairdryers etc. There is use of a fridge as well as a cool box. Use of a herb garden and a chicken coop which you are welcome to take eggs from 🙂 I would definitely recommend archery! we had a great time doing this 🙂 such good value for money also. We also enjoyed playing with Bruce (a gorgeous white dog) while we waited our turn. I would definitely stay again
The whole experience was great. We were looking for something a little different for our short stay and Wild Harvest was perfect! Everything was beautifully laid out and we could not want for anything. We especially loved the cut tea lights in the tipis and the cosy communal area. Di and Lee helped us with everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. We all agree that we will definitely be back again!! 🙂
Absolutely amazing stay at Wild Harvest, had booked it for a hen do. I would highly recommend it to people, we were there for the weekend but wished we could have stayed longer to try more of the activities. We did pizza making which I would defiantly recommend to anyone, Di was fabulous.
We had a wonderful stay at Wild Harvest. Our host were lovely and very accommodating. The whole set up has lots of charm and there are some sweet additions that make if feel special and unique (candelabra and vintage tea cups etc). It has also been well thought though in terms of practicality and we had everything we needed to make it an easy stay. We really enjoyed the archery the next day – great fun. We cant wait to return – hopefully for longer next time and to sample more of the available activities.
We had a great time staying at Wild Harvest, the craft activities were great fun and it was plain to see that Di really cares about living off the land and making the most of her surroundings. We really enjoyed doing yoga outside in the sunshine which she also arranged for us. Lee was also really helpful in getting our fire started for the BBQ lunch whilst we were busy with activities. The site is lovely and mostly very well thought out. I would definitely recommend this place though, it’s in a beautiful area, the other guests had a great time and it was a really fun weekend. Thank you Di and Lee for having us. x
