We have been running rural crafts courses and self-sufficiency related training for many years at Wild Harvest, and over time we have been able to put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions or FAQs that may be of use to new customers.

You may bring your dog by prior arrangement, at your own risk, and with the expectation you clean up after it.

All facilities are on ground level however there may be some uneven surfaces as this is a farm. Please call in advance to discuss your specific needs.

Refreshments are included on all courses.  On weekend courses lunch is also included.  On day courses please bring a pack lunch.

Yes – we have plenty of parking spaces.

If you cancel more than two weeks from the start date AND we manage to resell your place you can have a full refund. If you cancel within two weeks or we do not manage to fill your place we will be unable to refund your course fees so please make sure you are free before you book.

We can offer free camping in our garden for one night for anyone attending a day course or longer to make your journey to us easier.

In addition to this there is local accommodation available at:

www.acornglade.co.uk – Acorn Glade is just a two minute drive away. You can stay in a yurt, a gypsy caravan or wood cabin from £40 per night for two people.

www.yorkway-motel.co.uk – The Yorkway Motel is ten minutes drive away from our farm. Rooms cost from about £70 for two per night in double room.

Yes there is free unlimited wifi – just ask for the password!

There is partial coverage the extent of which depends on your network.  There is a landline for emergency calls.

The venue and activities are not suitable for small children unless it is a specific family/children’s course.  Oder children are welcome to hang out.
